Tonight I am full of gratitude for my beloved pets; for their loyalty, love, protection and healing. I truly would be a broken human being without them, as life's challenges have been bearable with furry angels to comfort me.
My amazing cats expect so little, yet are always so generous with their love. I pray I will be able to give them the life they deserve.
Having bred and raised most of my cats, I have a very close relationship with them. At night, I make sure to send them light and love as I drift off to sleep. I don't say formal prayers; however, tonight I found a nice prayer I will include in this evenings end of the day reflection. I couldn't have said it any better. Please bear with me through this sentimental outpouring...I adore my kitties so much!
Dear God,
You have given us care over all living things;
Protect and bless the animals who give us companionship and delight,
Make us their true friends and worthy companions.
Amen.
